Nude & Neon Nails

Shiseido Maquillage RD747 (HK$95) |
has a mirco pink sheen inside the bottle but applied to be a muted pink
Etude House OR206 (HK$30) |
is a neon orange with a hot pink undertone without any shimmers
OPI Top and Base Coat

Nude and Neon has always been a trend for spring and summer but is definitely one of THE trends that grabs the most attention for 2012. Hello, Bobbi Brown? Im duping the trend with a few Asian nail polishes that I have recently discovered. Super impressed with Shiseido Maquillage's RD747's quality - it lasts on my for 7 days with a mild chipping. The affordable OR206 from Etude House chips slightly easier but one coat is enough for an opaque even coat.

Love cooperating trends into nail designs. It is fun! What do you think?

Holiday Glam Makeup in Cantonese

How can you call it holiday makeup without glittery shimmery eyeshadow and red lip? This is my first (hopefully not last!) holiday makeup tutorial and hope you all like it. I decided to film this in Cantonese, well, because I feel like speaking it is easier for me to express what I wanna say. Often time especially in videos I had to think about how to phrase my sentences and put them in the grammar. It's tiring, man.
Nonetheless, this is my first (hopefully not last!) holiday makeup tutorial and hope you all like it. I will probably wear this look when I am in nyc again for new years eve. I wish I had more time to blog and film but I am preparing for my trip to see my family overseas in 2 weeks piling on top of the stress of moving out possibly at the worst time of the year in 2 days..

If I don't get to talk to you all soon, have a great nye! I will see you all in 2012!

[Tutorial] - Fuchsia Hot Pink Look

As a neutral makeup kinda girl you almost never catch me with bright bold eyeshadows even though I love them! I decided to take on a challenge before I get too old sitting at a corner of the house painfully regret what I didn't do while I was young wtf.

Yes I got another Inglot palette last weekend from NYC and rearranged all the eyeshadows I have. I couldn't help but notice this gorgeous FUCHSIA hot pink color. I filmed a tutorial for you! But since a lot of you complained about having difficulties hearing me from other videos, I am making this sans sound lol. So, here you go -

Though the eyeshadow is super pigmented and bold, its actually very pretty for a night look in my opinion, especially with a simple black dress. Me likey!

Products used -
Revlon PhotoReady foundation in 006 Medium Beige
Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Concealer in 02
Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder in 30 Natural
MAC Paintpot in Bare Study (Primer)
Inglot eyeshadow in ds495 (Hot Pink)
Revlon eyeshadow in Violet Scarlet (Purple)
Inglot eyeshadow in 451 (Dark Grey)
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
Maybelline Ultra Liner in Brown
Maybelline Stylish Smokes (over liner)
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus Mascara
ELF Contouring Blush
Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick in RS701
Chanel Glossimer in 87 Seashell

Hope you enjoy the video! I am making the steps as simple as possible for girls who are lazy yet curious to play with colors *contradiction of life wtf.

Also let me know if you like this night filming setting as I will only be able to film at night from now on *sad face. Are you a big fan of vibrant eyeshades? What colors do you use the most?

[Tutorial] Classic Red Lip Look

Do you wear red lips on a daily basis? I think it's not that horrible (and actually quite pretty thus I needed to do a tutorial to honour it) and quite wearable if you know how to tone down the eye makeup.

Products used for this look
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium/Dark and Shimmer (Bronzer)

What do you think? Do you like the look? Regardless, I am using one of the pictures of this look as my new blog layout header. You're forced to like it wtf.

Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick Review + FOTD

You all know my favourite lippie is the Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick. I have got my one and only red lipstick (RD415 Valentine, read review HERE)from Shiseido and immediately fell in love with the moisturizing and long lasting texture. I am normally not a lipstick girl but the Perfect Rouge line from Shiseido is just too amazing! and What is the difference from the last time? Not only I picked up a rosy pink, which is a super pretty everyday and night color, I just found out Shiseido now has names for all their lippies!

Check out Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick color chart HERE.

I wish Blogger wouldn't wash out pictures' reddness :(
Give you all a big FAT kiss! Ah I hate the shape of my lips-_-
Anyway this is the swatch on my lips.

Pros: (texture wise is really close to RD415)
- true to color (look at the graph and my swatch!!)
- sooooooo smooth
- highly pigmented (covered 100% of my super pigmented lips)
- glossy finish without the need of a gloss
- sharp tip for creating sharp lip lines
- long lasting (~3 hours)
- sturdy and classy packaging
- light color but does not wash me out (works extremely well with yellow undertone skin)

Cons:
- Pricey $25

FOTD:
- just realized I haven't camwhored for a very long time :P
hmmm maybe I should've worn circle lenses to bring out that dolly eyed effect but I was too lazy...

WTF? Anyway enjoy.
And I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick Review + FOTD

I was browsing around at Macy's for holiday collections and thinking to myself what I absolutely needed instead of randomly buying everything - and there's only one answer on my mind - A GOOD RED LIPSTICK. So I walked to the Shiseido counter ignoring the Benefit Cosmetics 'party' promotion event that was going on, or all the buy-this-get-that promotions in the store, I wanted a good quality smooth, pigmented, not drying red lipstick PERIOD. I tested couple red lipsticks from MAC but they are not as smooth as this one.

I am so in love with it! Definitely going to repurchase more from this line. This is going to be such a pop for all the dull colors I wear for the fall and winter! Love it Love it!
