EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm

Hi loves! Sorry I have been gone for wayyyy toooo longgg. If you follow me on twitter, you'd probably know I was gone to California for 2 weeks. It was such a fun trip! But being gone for that long, I have piled up tons and tons of new stuff I wanted to share with you. Thus, putting the Cali trip aside, I need to start catching up with my product reviews :D

If you have read my blog for awhile, you know I LOVE the EOS lip balm in sweet mint. Its so cute and super easy to be found in my always-oh-so-messy purse. I decided to pick up this lemon drop one while searching for a chapstick that contains SPF for my trip to sunny California. And surprise! A lot of CVS now carry EOS products. yay!

Drug Facts

My thoughts:
I am actually quite disappointed with this SPF lip balm. It is almost as greasy as the LLBean with chapsticks.. Almost like having Vaselline on thr lips with a hint of lemon flavor. Even though its very moisturizing,  I prefer using refreshing and clean textured lip balms when I am out.. if that makes any sense. So I mean I will keep using it because it contains SPF, but if I had to choose a clean non greasy formula I'd pick something from Hawaiian Tropic.

Make Up Basics - Blushers

Different ways to apply blushers make a whole world of differences.

Method from IPSA Makeup Artist Tstsuya Okukawa 奧川哲也:
Images by CosmogirlHK

Egg Shaped
Apply blush lightly along the cheek bone to make face shape perfect

Square Shaped
Diagonally apply blush and focus blush color on the outer edge to lengthen face shape as well as to make face appear smaller and softer.
Round Shaped
Apply blush like a tilted triangle with pigmentation focused on the outside to contour and make face appear slimmer.

Upside Down Triangle Shaped
Apply blush color in the center of cheeks in order to make face plump.

Rectangle shaped
Horizontally applying blush in a oval motion to widen face to make features appear not as harsh.

Its simply logical but yet effective. Without a doubt, my face is round shaped. Bingo! It looks like I have been doing it correctly ;D Have you been applying blushers correctly?

Happy Birthday to my dear friend!
On top of 5 restaurant weeks within 2 weeks, my friends and I had a 8 hour hot pot marathon. I have officially gained 6 lbs and am going to run like a psycho and sweat dogs and cats in the next couple of weeks in the gym. I need to seize the chance to lose some weight because when winter comes around I will eat even more fml, or maybe I should just give up on life? Just kidding! We should never go on diet. Eat the best we can because exercising and keeping your metabolism running fast, we will be doing just fine (or, maybe just another excuse to eat more lol)

Geo Tri Color Grey Review

Besides getting the Geo Angel Grey lenses, of which I did a review on a while ago, I also got Geo Tri Color Grey. I meant to order Geo World Grey but I couldn't find them anywhere - so their existence remains a mystery. Anyone knows if Geo Tri Color = Geo World?

Anyway, onto my review:

Geo Tri Color Grey
from PinkyParadise
Ordered on: July 23rd
Received on: Aug 12th
Price: $20.90 + $6.5 Shipping
Gift: Purple Elephant case

Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Stock: Stock available
Brand : Geo Medical
Diameter : 14.0mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm

Nighttime with flash

Comfort: 10

Most comfortable lenses ever owned. I have worn it over 8 hours (don't do it!) and my eyes were still moist. I didn't notice any redness either.

Coloration: 9.5
See it for yourself :) They are almost the exact dupe for the regular Acuvue moist one day lenses. The middle brown color blends in pretty well with my eye color and make them look less awkward lol. I think they look great and natural in picture day and night.

Enlargement: 0 or 10
I have come to the realization that the enlarging effect is just not for me. These lenses have NO enlargement effect. One thing that needs to pay attention to is that due to the size reduction of the pupils in a dark setting, the lenses might be tiny bit smaller than our pupils, see the left side of my right eye (left in the picture)? It is not noticeable tho.

If you are looking for something natural that would lighten up your eyes I would definitely recommend this.

Sorry for the lack of posts! Recently, I have been looking for an apartment to move to. After running around and checking out tons of apartment, I finally found one in Back Bay I like enough to sigh a year lease. I will be posting again soon and letting you know what is up after I move in on Tuesday. So please stay tuned :)
