Review | Urban Decay 24/7 Travel Pencil Set - Naked

This set of 5 pencils is a great way to (finally) try out the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils. To really try out these highly raved-about eyeliner pencils out, they were the only eye makeup I brought to the trip to Nepal (HERE) for the span of 8 days and all I needed.

From left to right -
Zero | zeolous matte black
Demolition | matte dark brown
Bourbon | brown with gold sparkle
Stray Dog | shimmer greyish brown
Underground | metallic taupe

The combination of these Urban Decay 24/7 pencils an be used alone or together create an complete eye look. I found Zero and Demolition are particularly good for lining the waterline since they are matte and dark enough. I believe these pencils get their hypes from being so long lasting and smooth. Compared to Milani Liquif'eye eyeliner pencils, the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils are less creamy and have a firmer consistency, of which make them more smudge proof. However you do need to let them set for a few seconds / run over them with the lightest touch of loose powder. Each pencil is 0.03oz - compared to a full size 0.04 oz and costs $18, this $32 set is a great deal.

Are they worth the hype? Yes & No.
Yes - they are creamy and very easy to apply, stay on all day and smudge proof.
No - they are not entirely crease proof if you were to use them as eyeshadow. Am I expecting too much? Perhaps, but together they easily create a complete eye look in seconds. They are also very creamy so often sharpening is needed.

I wanted to post this up asap because they are currently on a steeper discount on Hautelook for just $19.  That's $1 more than a regular full sized UD 24/7 pencils and a great chance to try out all these beautiful colors. Use the referral link HERE if you don't have a Hautelook account. The sales end tomorrow Wednesday 8AM EST.

[Tutorial] Classic Red Lip Look

Do you wear red lips on a daily basis? I think it's not that horrible (and actually quite pretty thus I needed to do a tutorial to honour it) and quite wearable if you know how to tone down the eye makeup.

Products used for this look
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium/Dark and Shimmer (Bronzer)

What do you think? Do you like the look? Regardless, I am using one of the pictures of this look as my new blog layout header. You're forced to like it wtf.

Dior makeover!

Guess where I went today? Yes, to a Dior makeover. If you have read my blog long enough, you probably remember I went to a Bobbi Brown makeover not to long ago, and that I love going to makeovers because I enjoy being pampered and dolled up without using my own hands wtf.

Nah but it was good testing out all the skincare and cosmetics products on my real face. My makeup artist Kathy called me in advance to NOT put any makeup on before. It made me feel like the end of the world - I felt so naked -_-''

Kathy started off applying some skincare products that I need beneath my makeup. The products I use are as follows:

Face:
Left: Diorskin Nude Cream Gel Compact in 030
Right: Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Fresh Powder Makeup SPF 10 in 030
It creates a healthy and light coverage. I like the fact that the gel compact doesn't make my skin oily (pretty much similar to the Bobbi Brown Moisturizing Cream Compact foundation that I used to own but with less coverage and no SPF )

Eyes:
All-in-one artistry Palette in Navy design
The palette itself is gorgeous and I like the fact that everything is included in the palette (shadows, highlight and liner) but I doubt I would use enough if I bought it. Its just not my cup of tea!

Mascaras:
Nothing is wrong with the products, but without curling my lashes, even better mascaras wouldnt do sh!t to my lashes -_-.

Blush:
Harmonic de Blush
Love it on the pan, but don't think its impossible to find dupes. Rather buy a blush that I would use everything like my MAC Melba.

Lips:
Left: Dior Lip Glow (she suggested me to use my Lip Glow underneath - Review HERE)
Right: Dior Addict in 578 Diorkiss (the one on Kate Moss and Cathy recommended)

What I ended up buying:
1) Capture Total Eye Treatment: It has a metal roller plate for messaging. Fingers crossed it would work better than my current Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Massage Serum.
2) Diorskin Nude Cream Gel Compact in 030: Nothing super exciting or special about this product. I just missed my old Bobbi Brown Moisturizing Cream Compact foundation that I used to own but with less coverage and no SPF)
3) Dior Addict in 578 Diorkiss: Combined with my Dior Lip Glow, they turn into a bright bright pink. It's kinda ridiculous look but I kinda like it. HAHA

and what I got for free:
1) Leather makeup bag with mirror inside!
2) Compact with 3 shadows & 2 lip colors
3) Dior Addict samples (I know I will get more after I try them out!)
Do you own anything from Dior summer 2011?  What do you have from them and what are your recommendations?

Review | Dolly Wink Lashes #1 Dolly Sweet & Liquid Eyeliner

This is one of the LONG overdue reviews but I hope you still find it helpful!

DollyWink Eyeliner

Pros:
- super long lasting, sweat proof
- would not leave the smudged residue, come off entirely when met with water
- very opaque and constant coloration
- extremely fine and easy controllable tip for thick or fine lines

Cons:
- not water proof
- only be purchased online

DollyWink Lashes

Pros:
- Transparent rim so no awkward thick liner when doing natural makeup
- very natural
- length is perfect and not too long for Asian eye shapes
- very good quality lashes for the price

Cons:
- rim too light the lashes are hard to stay 'up' after worn for a long time
- always out of stock on imomoko lol

How they look on me

To really show you how they look on me, I only have the eyeliner and lashes on so No primer no eyeshadow no circle lenses whatsoever. Do you like it? I have been hunting for the best lashes lately. Any recommendations?
