Hi Its been over a year since my last posts. Nuts! Back with an accumulated nail polish review.

Essie On a Essie Silver Platter (Thumb, wedding ring)

Illamasqua Trillion (index, middle)

Orly Rage (pinky)

2 coats for each underneath Seche Vite top coat. Essie On a Silver Platter is a silverish gold with royal blue glitters, still see through after 2 coats. Illamasqua Trillion's pink tone diminishes with silver glitters leftovers. 1 coat is enough to cover the edge between your nail bed and nail, 2 coats make an opaque coat. Orly Rage is a rose gold metallic with micro shimmers.

A dusty dark pink.


Perfect color for the rainy spring not-yet-summer time.


1 coat to 95% opaqueness (pinky)

2 coats to 100% opaque application (all other fingers).

Been loving Essie much more than OPI lately. Their formula is much more consistent and for some reason the brush is easier to use. This is my favourite one out of the Essie x JCrew mini collection I bought awhile back. The mini brush with shorter bristles are comparable to OPI's regular brushes.


It makes my fingers look expensive wtf!

Looks like I am enjoying the weather? I am just really good at acting. It's actually SO humid out! Pictures are taken the same day before a hair cut (yes I finally gave in and have my hair chopped off a bit).

Essie Lilacism Review

Story of my life: On the hunt for the perfect pastel purple nail color for spring, Picked up this gorgeous color from Ulta then 2 days later MAC comes out with Little Girl Type (pale lavender cream) in their new Quite Cute collection-_- which is 99% similar in color, if not, just more purple and more of a color I was hunting for *Sparta!!!

*Picture on Essie.com is much more greyish than real life.

You know how hard it was to find a cream purple color that doesnt clash with my skintone? Bleh I still love this color A LOT. 2 coats to perfection. See all the chippings? That's because they are taken on the 10th day since application (I am very surprised too!) The last picture is to show you the worn-out-ness of the color, really really not bad for 10 days taking into account that I am so rough with my nails (occupation: farmer). Isn't the color gorgeous?

CLAM BAKE

A creamy Red-Orange.
- runs sheer but has a solid application. Very glossy.

2 coats are what it is needed to look salon done.
Sorry my toes don't have that much strength, i still try to do couple shots holding the bottle tho wtf. I hope you are not eating dinner while reading this.

Indeed, we went on family trips once a year right at the new years time to "escape" from relatives visits lol. My parents went to South Africa last year, Europe the year before and New Zealand the year of the year before for the holidays. They apparently like to go nicer places when my brother and I are not home (wtf). But my mom's passport expired this year and they are going to Yunnan, China only this time. HAHA that's right!

Seeing many bright reds from you girls it's finally time to get my hands on some. I have been so obsessed with Essie minis lately. They are so cute!

According to Essie, it is a candy cane red. For me, its is a true bright red.
Perfect to be the matching pop of color when I am off to an island tomorrow wearing my red hawaiian print bikini! xo

Essie Summer Collection 2010 - Haute as Hello

A light racy, scorching coral shade that looks soo pretty in the bottle. It turns out to be couple shades darker and a lot more orange on the nails. Furthermore it is matte. I know I could easily put on a top coat to make it shiny but I greatly prefer glossier polishes, just in case I wanted to use it for a quick fix. This is probably the least favorite Essie I have tired :( what do you think?

Yay! found my perfect taupe grey! a perfect match for all the light neutrals i like to wear for the summer. its also a nice alternative when im tired of my nude OPI mr and mrs.
