I was so excited to meet up with a childhood friend tonight - I always feel like karma brings us together because in Hong Kong kids can apply to whatever school they want based on their academic excellence yet we went to primary and secondary school together.

Creme Brulee Caffe Habitu is known to be pretty quiet at night near my friend's work place in the business district of Wan Chai. It was perfect for us to have a good meal while catching up. She spent the whole last year studying in Tokyo and I missed her so much. She has always been here for me, no matter when I am in Boston, Shanghai, Beijing or Hong Kong, or when she was in Japan. It's heart melting to know that we have both grown so much separated yet connected heart to heart and care about each other so much. |
